General Psychiatry Program

Inpatient treatment at HRI Hospital serves adult patients in an acute state of crisis who require intensive, inpatient level of care treatment and 24-hour care at a live-in facility. Our multidisciplinary approach is overseen by a psychiatrist who designs individualized treatment plans designed specifically for each patient. Treatment focuses on crisis stabilization for acute mental health needs. The treatment plan involves psychological and behavioral components such as medication management and milieu management, family education and participation in group therapy. The involvement of family and outside treatment providers is crucial to the recovery process.
