Dual Diagnosis Program

Dual Diagnosis Program at HRI Hospital: Why Choose Us?

The dual diagnosis partial hospitalization program (PHP) at HRI Hospital helps adults 18 and older recover from co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. You attend group therapy sessions during the day and return home at night and on weekends.

Our dual diagnosis program meets Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 3:20 p.m. You have the option to attend in person or virtually. We provide breakfast and lunch if you attend in person. The program is usually two weeks.

If you are dealing with a mental health issue, such as severe depression, along with a substance use disorder, we can help. Our staff is specially trained to help you recover from these issues. We provide a structured, supportive environment so you can focus on healing.

At HRI Hospital, you’ll find:

  • High-quality care: Our commitment to high-quality mental health care has earned our facility Joint Commission accreditation.
  • Skilled care providers: You work with master’s-level therapists, a nurse practitioner and a case manager, who can connect you with community resources and aftercare. They coordinate your care and tailor treatment to your needs.
