Women's Programs

HRI Hospital provides a women’s partial hospitalization program designed to address psychological treatment needs that are unique to women while giving women a safe space for recovery. We are a welcoming and inclusive space for all women which can help women to feel less threatened, less inferior, comforted, and connected to their peers.

The program involves evaluation, symptom management, stabilization and discharge planning. Every patient receives a multidisciplinary treatment plan and individualized care that best fits their needs. Our program can include treatment such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Group Therapy, Dialectical Therapy, Trauma Focused and more.

The women’s program is conducted separately from our other partial hospitalization programs and includes specialty tracks such as The Ascend Program at HRI Hospital a virtual partial hospitalization program dedicated to Women of Color to address the unique needs and challenges that arise within racially, ethnically and culturally diverse populations including multilingual and LGBTQIA+ communities. The Ascend Program is based on group and individual treatment models used to empower women to build coping skills needed to overcome mental health challenges within their communities, work environments and personal relationships.
